| Deformational plagiocephaly
has now become the most common reason for an abnormal head shape in a
new born. We are in the process of developing an inexpensive universal
helmet that can correct any patient's abnormality. When custom fit to
the patient's head, this helmet pushes the deformed areas back into
place. We are also developing sleep positioners that hold the infant
in a proper position to prevent SIDS while simultaneously decreasing
the risk of deformational plagiocephaly. |
